Abbies Love
Abbie's Love was founded in memory of Abbie Jane Clarke who died of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP). It supports Epilepsy Research and support services. It was recently featured on the programme Secret Millionaire.
Barnardos SECOS project
Barnardo’s SECOS (Sexual Exploitation of Children On the Streets) Project works to enable young people to exit and recover from sexual exploitation through prostitution.
Blood Run
As a satellite of Whiteknights EVS (Emergency Voluntary Service) – a registered charity run service who despatch blood and other small lifesaving items, such as X-rays and test results, out of hours for the NHS in West Yorkshire - a group whose mission is to serve the people of Cleveland by providing an emergency motorcycle service to transport urgent and non-urgent medical items on behalf of the NHS.
Butterfly Giving
Butterfly Giving is a quirky new charity started by a Middlesbrough teen dedicated to fighting teenage cancer by funding research projects and to raise money to aid those diagnosed. It is also comitted to raising vital awareness.
Butterwick Hospice
Butterwick House is located in Stockton-on-Tees in the North East of England. The Hospice provides care and support free of charge to children with life limiting illnesses from birth to 18 years of age and supports their families.
Finlay Cooper Fund
The Finlay Cooper Fund is a registered charity set up by former Boro star Colin Cooper and his wife Julie, in memory of their son who they lost at a very young age as a result of a choking accident.
The fund supports children’s causes in the north east and further afield and to date has distributed tens of thousands of pounds to children’s hospices, individual children with various illnesses and other worthy children’s causes.
Holistic Cancer Care Centre
Holistic Cancer Care Centre is a self funding charity, based in the grounds of the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough that provides complementary healthcare treatments, support and advice to cancer patients and their main carers free of charge. Around 150 treatments are given each week and the Centre needs to raise £200,000 per annum to continue to provide this very worthwhile and beneficial service that helps cancer patients through their chemotherapy, radiotherapy and beyond. Although based on a hospital site the Holistic Cancer Care Centre does not received any NHS funding.
Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research
Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research (previously known as Leukaemia Research) was founded in Middlesbrough in 1960 by the Eastwood family after the death of daughter Susan, age 6. This national charity has since raised over £357million for research into blood cancers.
It was the Middlesbrough Council charity of the year in 2010 to honour its 50th year.

Marie Curie Cancer Care
Marie Curie Cancer Care nurses provide a high quality nursing service, totally free, to give terminally ill people the choice of dying at home surrounded by family and friends.

The Meserani Project
The Meserani Project was set up by the pupils, staff, parents and friends of Acklam Grange School Middlesbrough. It has brought together young people from Africa and Teesside, and has made a huge impact on the lives of many children and families in developing areas of Kenya and Tanzania.

Remembering Rebecca
Raising awareness of rare brain disorder, lissencephaly, in memory of little 21-month-old Rebecca, Remembering Rebecca is a local registered charity which offers financial assistance and support to children, from birth to 16 years, with neurological conditions.

Sir Bobby Robson Foundation
Former England Football manager, Sir Bobby Robson fought cancer an incredible five times. Sadly, 17 years after his first diagnosis, he lost that long and courageous battle on 31 July 2009. After retiring from football management, Sir Bobby worked hard towards a new goal - fighting cancer through his charity. The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation focuses on the early detection and treatment of cancer and the clinical trials of new drugs that will eventually beat it.
South Cleveland Heart Fund
South Cleveland Heart Fund is a local charity established in 1995 to raise money to support the Cardiothoracic Unit at The James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough in its work and research.
All monies raised are used to fund research and to purchase equipment that will benefit patients admitted to the Cardiothoracic Unit.
Teesside Hospice
Teesside Hospice Care Foundation is based in Linthorpe and was founded in 1982 and exists to enhance the quality of life for those suffering from a life limiting illness. It offers specialist palliative care and support to patients and carers, in the belief that each person is entitled to dignity and choice within the best provision of care.

TFM Radio Cash for Kids Children's Charity
The official Charity of TFM Radio & Magic 1170. Set up in the 1970's, they have raised millions of pounds to help sick, disabled and disadvantaged children in the local area.
Zoe's Place Baby Hospice
Zoë's Place gives care for infants from birth to five years of age. All services are free to the families that use them. The first Baby Hospice was opened at Liverpool in 1995 and in 2004 Zoë's Place in Middlesbrough was able to open the doors and welcome their first special babies.
