Sarah’s Boro hat-trick
Middlesbrough Town Hall has bagged another comedy coup – after Sarah Millican added an unprecedented third date for her brand new show by huge public demand.
Tickets for Sarah’s two autumn Town Hall dates on 23 & 24 October as part of her eagerly anticipated Thoroughly Modern Millican tour sold in double-quick time.
Now, tickets are already flying for the extra date on Wednesday 15 February next year – with promoters Ten Feet Tall adding the new date to help meet the demand of Sarah’s growing army of fans.
The star of a string of top TV shows including Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and ITV’s Loose Women, Sarah’s new show follows a record breaking 120-date debut tour for her huge Edinburgh Festival hit Chatterbox.
Laura Hannaway of Midlesbrough Town Hall said: “Sarah Millican is an absolute phenomenon and we love her to bits!
“Big-hitters like John Bishop, Jason Manford and Frankie Boyle have all sold-out two night runs here in the last 12 months or so – but Sarah’s topped the lot.
“The office phones get red hot whenever her shows are announced, and we’re absolutely delighted that she’s managed to squeeze another show into her mad busy schedule.”
The new show continues a star-studded comedy schedule at the Town Hall over the last few years.
A string of household names including Michael McIntyre, Frankie Boyle, Jimmy Carr, Jason Manford, Dara O Briain, John Bishop, Rob Brydon, Rhod Gilbert, Ross Noble, Sean Lock, Ed Byrne, Kevin Bridges and Dylan Moran have all played the Town Hall in the last two years alone, and Big Mouth Comedy Club continues to bring some of the best and freshest comics around to packed crowds downstairs in the Crypt on the first Saturday of each month.

The Main Hall can accommodate up to 10 wheelchairs and the Crypt up to 6 wheelchairs. One free ticket is available for each companion. Please inform the Box Office at time of booking.
