Family learning festival at Middlesbrough libraries

A fun fortnight that brings families together to learn is taking place at Middlesbrough libraries.
The National Family Learning Festival is the biggest annual celebration of family learning in the UK.
Every October, organisations across the country put on activities that bring families together for fun, informal learning.
Middlesbrough Libraries have a variety of events throughout the festival which runs to October 30.
This covers the half term school holidays and all events and activities are free.
Events in Middlesbrough libraries include sessions on creative writing, crafts, Xbox Kinect, family history drop-in, Zoolab, knit and natter and Hallowen fun and more.
Libraries taking part are Thorntree, Grove Hill, Acklam, Hemlington, Berwick Hills, North Ormesby, Easterside, Marton, Central and the Reference Library.
