Middlesbrough Futsal Club play host to table toppers Manchester on Sunday and can leapfrog their rivals with a win and Socceroo and Middlesbrough star Rhys Williams will be special guest for the match.

The last time these two sides met, Boro ran out 5-0 winners in Manchester and with just five games remaining a win for either side will give them the advantage in the race for the playoffs.

Boro have signed Australian international Corey Smith to help them in their title charge and this Sunday will see the club hold their Australia Day celebrations to welcome their new signing. Middlesbrough’s Rhys Williams will be on hand to welcome his compatriot and support Boro’s futsal team.

As well as Rhys Williams, there will be face painting, kangaroos and an Australian atmosphere for supporters to enjoy as well as some giveaways including a signed Boro shirt! Not to mention the best fans at a futsal match in the country making Thornaby Pavilion a cauldron of noise and colour!
