Halloween themed children's petting zoo with "Creepy Crawly" animals with free kids' crafts this half-term.

Spiders, snakes, lizards and other reptiles are on display and can be stroked and handled by children from age five upwards under supervision, as part of the Halloween Celebrations at the Middlesbrough Shopping Centre and indoor market, which includes free Halloween mask making and fridge magnet designs.

Run by Animal Story, the day long Creepy Crawly Petting Zoo is designed to introduce kids safely to more exotic animals which they do not often encounter.  Handling is encouraged under the supervision of the experienced animal handlers.  The shopping centre and indoor market is decked out in Halloween decorations with staff from some shops dressed in full Halloween costumes and masks.
