The grand unveiling of Cake Fest Middlesbrough. See the giant, fully edible landscape take shape and - once the map has been completed and admired - help yourself to a slice of your favourite cake building.

11.45am-12.30pm – Back Chat Brass 

12pm – 2pm - The giant, edible map of Middlesbrough is created, admire the cake landmarks close-up as they arrive and make your own icing cars, buses, trees and boats to add to the map

1pm-2pm – Back Chat Brass workshop in the Town Hall Crypt - free to attend. spaces can be pre-booked online at are suitable for all ages and abilities from existing players to those who have never picked up an instrument before. 

2pm – 2.30pm - The map is finished, admire the visual feast while baking teams place their votes for the ‘Bakers Choice’ award.

2.30pm - The ‘Bakers Choice’ award winners are announced.

2.30pm-3.15pm – Back Chat Brass 

2.45pm – 3.15pm - It’s time to devour the edible map.
