Get ready, grow. It's bloomin' amazing news for Middlesbrough Mela as CBeebie's Mr Bloom comes to town and he's bringing his garden with him! Catchy songs, games and a whole harvest of veggie stories – it's a fun-filled show for all the family.
If gardening roots are not your thing why not catch the epic opening parade on Saturday 17th August at 12pm. Vibrant costumes and fabulous moving structures themed around journeys, nature, animals and insects will launch the weekend in an amazing display of music, dance, life size puppets, circus performances and jammin' beats!
The family fun continues with daredevil antics from Circus Raj, drumming, arts and crafts in the Melariffic workshops, mouth-watering food, a treasure-filled bazaar and loads more to discover around every corner.
Music fans will delight in both the Main and Alternative stage performances offering everything from local, emerging artists to international, award-winning superstars. Brand new for 2019 the Alternative Stage presents a stellar line-up of home-grown talent including Nel Unlit, Motherland, Travis Shaw and Giraffes, all from the Tees Valley.
