Creating a gallery wall at home and looking for some inspiration? Gallery TS1 on Corporation Road is a great place to start. Featuring paintings, prints, sculptures, woodwork, ceramic and textiles from a co-operative of sixteen local artists who pride themselves on their number one motto: local, affordable art, it's definitely a #BrilliantlyBoro gem waiting to be discovered.

The gallery is run by all the artists who often use it as a work-in-progress space and can be found making and painting inside. Always available for a chat and to talk more about the inspiration behind their art, the personal touch is a unique feature and presents an intimate buying experience for visitors and fans.

The gallery is currently showing an exhibition in watercolour by David Jowsey, Reflections of Eston and Normanby, which runs until 16 November and features the history and heritage of Cleveland's ironstone villages. Future plans include a Christmas and Winter exhibition and 'Drop in and Draw' sessions where materials and advice will be provided by the artist of the day and gallery visitors can have a go for themselves.

Prices in the gallery start at just £1 – next time you are in town why not check it out for yourself. Gallery TS1 is open 10am to 4pm on Monday to Saturday, and also on Sundays throughout December. Follow them on Facebook to stay up to date with all the latest information and events and happy art and jewellery shopping!
