Orange Pip is in full swing for Summer and returns to Baker and Bedford Street for the June Edition. This month brings more live music from the Orange Pip Town Hall Stage, family fun galore and travels round the foodie world with the incredible artisan food and drink stalls.
Orange Pip is all about the entertainment and the Orange Pip Town Hall Stage is set to wow with another brilliant live music line-up. In partnership with local grassroot promoters The Kids Are Solid Gold and Pay For The Piano, the June Edition is going to be jamming!
- 1.00pm Heel Turn – awesome post grunge with hardcore sensibilities
- 2.30pm: The Lulas – sun-drenched, funk infused, pop-rock from right here in Boro
- 4.00pm: Kay Greyson – Newcastle based hip/hop rap. Best Newcomer in the North East Culture Awards
- 5.00pm: Zach Said – fun, frisky pop with a loveable and distinctly British down to earth feel
In between sets don't miss dancing in the streets with Simply Social – give it a go, we dare you! There's fun for kids of all sizes with the Orange Pip Art Collective who will be back with more arty fun. And as always, we are getting super excited about all the food stalls that are gearing up for the event. There will be more foodie news coming soon…until then grab your calendars and save the date, Saturday 29th June, 12-7pm, see you there!
