Orange Pip Market returns for September and it's saying a fond farewell to an amazing season with a cracking send off! As well as all the usual Pip favourites: live music, food and drink galore, crafty fun with the Orange Pip Art Collective, Salsa Sam, face painting and yoga, there's also a Pop Up Pride hosted by Curious Arts, a community celebration with activities for everyone to enjoy. Saturday 28th September, 12-7pm, in Baker and Bedford Street.
September sees another amazing lineup of live music – think epic, emerging and exciting!
1:00pm: Finn Forster Indie-pop singer-songwriter and his brilliant band featuring members of The Panoramic and Bi:Lingual
2:30pm: Tom Mouse Smith 14 year old superstar in the making who has already supported the likes of The Charlatans, James Bay and Catfish and the Bottlemen!

5:30pm: SHE A tribute to some of the most exciting women in music including Stevie Nicks, Madonna, Blondie and more!
The Pop Up Pride celebrations are available all day throughout the Market and other venues across Middlesbrough. Check out Curious Storytime at Middlesbrough Central Library (recommended ages 3-7), a dance double bill at Middlesbrough Town Hall, street theatre and performances in the Pip streets, Pop Up Art Pride at MIMA led by young people and an exhibition at Pineapple Black: The Art of Being Queer exploring and celebrating queer artists and their work from around the globe. Follow the Pop Up Pride event to stay up to date with more exciting news and announcements.
While you're in town check out the Middlesbrough Art Weekender too. The biggest contemporary arts festival in the North East, this year sees a town wide takeover with workshops, events and happenings across multiple venues, including ADA at Middlesbrough Town Hall – an interactive sculpture for all the family.
The family fun continues at the market with rainbows galore in celebration of Middlesbrough Pop Up Pride. Paint the rainbow on your face, well, let the fantastic face painters do it for you, and join the Orange Pip Art Collective for a special Pride themed activity – more to be revealed soon! If giving things a go is your game, head to the Middlesbrough Art Weekender stall and try your hand at tie-dye! For the little performers in your life don't miss the fab live music line-up and Salsa Sam for some serious dancing opportunities.
September sees another fab collection of arts and craft stalls. If you're in the market for some early Christmas present inspiration, make sure you include them on your market tour.
