Triads is another of Middlesbrough’s most respected boutiques. Selling ready to wear designer names including Belstaff, Canada Goose, and Vivienne Westwood, they have been described in the media as ‘one of the best independent UK menswear stores’.

Quirky finds and bang on trend upcycled retro gems can be found in Baker Street's Aladdin’s cave-style boutiques, like Saint Boutique.

Top high street names selling fashions, electronics, homewares, jewellery and much more can be found along Linthorpe Road and in the four shopping centres that make up the bustling shopping heart of Middlesbrough – Cleveland Centre, Hillstreet Centre, Captain Cook Square, and Dundas Arcade. Stores include House of Fraser, Topshop, Marks and Spencer, Pandora, River Island, New Look, Primark, Apple, Stormfront, Disney Store, and so many more.

After a long day hitting the shops you can unwind and enjoy a premium cocktail at one of Middlesbrough's popular bars like The Nuthatch and Dovecot Bar and Kitchen, sip on a coffee made by expert baristas at Bedford St Coffee, or try Off the Ground for ethically sourced coffee and sweet temptations. There's huge number of tempting restaurants nearby too, including Fork in the Road, Barbarossa, and Bistrot Pierre – the hard part is choosing which one to try!

Round the day off in style with a pampering session at one of the nearby nail bars, or make a night of it and enjoy Middlesbrough's lively late night hotspots before calling it a night in one of the nearby hotels for a well-earned rest.
